This week, we continue publication of our 3rd Quarter 2023 Wrap Up. In Parts I and II, Dr. Joseph P. Farrell and I considered the big picture—the top 20 news stories of the third quarter and our list of unanswered questions. In Part III, Ricardo Oskam, my co-author for the Building Wealth curriculum, joins me to shift our focus to what current events mean to you and me in our daily lives.
Importantly, we all need to evaluate how best to allocate our time and resources, given the changing landscape before us. In our review of immediate risks and opportunities, Ricardo and I use the six pillars of Building Wealth (Your Free and Inspired Life, Navigation Tools, Risk Management, Living Equity, Financial Equity, and Turtle Forth) as a framework to discuss actions that wealth builders can take in the coming months and year. Join us as we consider actions such as developing a learning plan, digesting the top trends, outwitting the Great Poisoning, investing in our children and culture, dealing with inflation and deflation, and what it means to “turtle forth” in this environment.
Ricardo has been working on the instructions to prepare a learning plan since we launched Building Wealth. We will publish our Learning Plan 1.0 with this discussion—including a sample learning plan and time budget. We consider increasing learning metabolisms to be invaluable for “jumping the curve” in this environment, so please do check out the PDF document when you listen.
The 3rd Quarter 2023 Wrap Up will conclude with an interview (date TBA) with Whitney Webb—the guest author for the Wrap Up theme—who will help us understand what we need to know about AI.
