“The timing of the plan suggests that the Netanyahu government wishes to make the case that it does not seek the ‘genocide’ of the Palestinian people in Gaza.” ~ Breitbart
Details are being shared regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ambitious vision for “Gaza 2035,” which outlines a prosperous future for Gaza as a hub of commerce and innovation. According to Breitbart’s report, the government claims to envision “a Palestinian administration that is de-radicalized and focused on economic growth rather than on terror and hate.”
In the same breath, Spain, Norway, and Ireland recently announced their recognition of the State of Palestine. Four other countries—Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and the Bahamas—have done so this year, adding to a growing list. We acknowledge this action as our Pushback of the Week.
In addition, we would like to give a nod to British lawyer Karim Ahmad Khan, who serves as the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC). We commend his recent public statement regarding applications for arrest warrants in relation to Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, and three Hamas leaders, showing a commitment to upholding justice and accountability on the international stage.
