Blast from the Past: Week of June 28, 2021: Food Series – An Urban Homestead with Harry Blazer and Anais Dervaes

“In our society, growing food yourself has become the most radical of acts. It is truly the only effective protest, one that can—and will—overturn the corporate powers that be. By the process of directly working in harmony with nature, we do the one thing most essential to change the world—we change ourselves!” ~ Jules Dervaes

More and more people today are seriously thinking about growing their own food, at least some of it.

Listen to Harry Blazer interviewing Anais Dervaes of Urban Homestead. The Dervaes family transformed their 1917 home in a residential area of Pasadena in Southern California to be able to grow food on 1/10th of an acre for their family, with plenty to share or sell.
