Mischa Maisky is a Latvian-born Israeli cellist, currently living in Belgium. He has had a very successful international career, playing with the greatest philharmonic orchestras in the world. He is the only cellist who had the opportunity to study with two legendary cellists: Gregor Piatigorsky and Mstislav Rostropovich.
