Our Movie of the Week is the thought-provoking 2024 documentary, Playing God. Produced by award-winning directors Naeem and Ash Mahmood and independent investigative journalist Jacqui Deevoy, this eye-opening film exposes five decades of medical-pharmaceutical democide in England, Scotland, and Wales.
Through interviews with experts—a lawyer, doctor, and a priest/retired neurologist—and families who have experienced devastating loss, viewers gain a chilling and unique perspective on the stories shared in the film. One mother—Joan Bye, speaking of her daughter Helenor—plainly states, “She suffered much, she died needlessly, she could have been saved, but she was murdered by the state.”
This unsettling documentary raises serious questions over the use and combination of various drugs and protocols in the UK. While it may not be our most uplifting recommendation, this courageous documentary deserves to be seen so that the message of the filmmakers and individuals they interview does not go ignored.
