Let’s Go to the Movies: Week of July 31, 2023: Take Care of Maya

The health care and social services systems, alas, have long operated as a criminal enterprise. After the release of Sound of Freedom, the evocative docufilm on worldwide child kidnapping and human sex trafficking with actor Jim Caviezel, a viewer made us aware of a recent Netflix documentary entitled Take Care of Maya that is equally educational, revealing the racketeering within the health and hospital industries.

Medical kidnapping of children is real and not rare. It happens under the guise of child protection acts and is carried out by those who, ironically and literally, are called “Child Abuse Specialists.” The documentary’s producers have indicated that numerous families came forward even before the film’s completion to speak of their own experiences of being falsely accused of abusing their children.

There is a shocking reality with which parents and families need to concern themselves so they can understand the serious risks posed to the safety of their children.

This is an emotional and eye-opening real-life story of a child with a rare disease and her family doing everything to help her, which ultimately led to unthinkable harm imposed on the family by the (for-profit) child welfare system. A documentary just as important, infuriating, and heartbreaking as Sound of Freedom.
