“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” ~ Chief Seattle
This week, we once again honor Margaret and Dan Byfield, who hold the positions of Executive Director and CEO at Stewards of Liberty, a non-profit organization that advocates for private property rights. We commend them both as influential leaders who are actively working to stop the creeping land grab. Their success in supporting and working with a wide variety of state, local, and civil leaders is noteworthy.
Drawing on their combined and extensive experience, they are taking proactive measures to raise awareness and challenge ongoing efforts to control the land. This has included opposing the Security and Exchange Commission’s (SEC’s) Natural Asset Companies (NACs) ruling, which had the potential to enable Wall Street corporations and foreign investors to gain control over America’s land and resources.
Solari encourages you to get acquainted with and support the Byfields’ important work to protect one of our most valuable resources. The land grab is on, and we need to make sure those doing something about it have the community support and financial backing they need to be effective.
