"Over a million people die every year from lack of sun exposure." ~ Dr. Mercola
By Brigitte Mouchet
Our skin is a major contributor to the way we look, but it is so much more than that—it is one of our most precious assets. There seems to be a connection between the condition of our skin and the state of our health. This is what we are going to unpack in my interview with Professor Adiel Tel-Oren (aka “Dr. T”), a holistic skin scientist with an impressive background as a musician, medical doctor, chiropractic doctor, functional medicine expert, and clinical nutritionist. Dr. T is also an inventor of skin and anti-aging diagnostics and therapeutics, as well as a passionate leader of foraging trips, trekking expeditions, and ecological projects.
Beyond genetics, we will look at the conditions that contribute to healthy skin—and a healthy body—with a special focus on sunlight. We will also provide some rarely discussed advice on how to best take care of our skin, and discuss practical things we can do to improve our energy level and health. This knowledge can make a difference in the way we handle the typical health challenges we encounter in the winter. I hope you can join us for this interview. Feel free to leave your questions or comments below.
In Let's Go to the Movies, Catherine recommends one of the many productions of A Christmas Carol. This one was a British-American production made for TV, with George C. Scott as Scrooge. Scott’s performance is superb. It is an ideal follow-up to last week’s review of The Man Who Invented Christmas, which tells the story of Dickens’ writing of A Christmas Carol.
Post your questions for Ask Catherine and story suggestions for Catherine for Money & Markets this coming week here.
