Alexander Cooney is our hero this week. After spending 12 years in the police force, this very brave police officer from New South Wales, Australia, resigned from his job to be able to speak up publicly, and speak for his police colleagues who are not allowed to speak.
Last October, Cooney wrote an open letter to the police commissioner because he and his colleagues were worried that what they were being asked to do was eroding the police relationship with the community, and was also unjustified and unlawful. Understanding that Covid is not about a virus but about control, he contacted Advocate Me, an advocacy service, which finds solutions where the legal system fails. Today he has a message for all police officers in Australia.
