Les Quatre Vents is an exquisite English-style garden in the hills near Quebec, created by Francis Cabot (1925-2011), a famous investment banker turned gardener and founder of the Garden Conservancy. The more than 20-acre garden estate features lawns, meadows, streams, woodlands, bridges, waterfalls, lily ponds, and a Japanese garden, kitchen garden, and rose garden, along with pavilions, statues, and landscapes that take the visitor on a horticultural journey and initiation into the perfection that comes from the conscious interplay of man and nature.

This documentary tells the story of both the garden and its gardener, and the art and philosophy behind its creation.

More about the documentary can be found on the movie’s website.

The full movie can be watched on various streaming platforms such as Vimeo.
