Thanatos, meaning “death” in Greek, is a 2019 documentary directed by Pierre Barnérias and produced by his company Tprod.

In 2020, Barnérias directed the courageous documentary Hold-Up, which gave early voice to many of the French doctors, scientists, and commentators asking essential questions about the use of pandemic laws and restrictions to centralize ownership and control.

The topic of Thanatos is very different and won’t leave you indifferent. Looking into a question as old as the world, the film documents the experiences of people who have experienced death and then returned. “There is nothing to fear about death” is the message from those interviewees. They returned transformed, with a new understanding of reality and appreciation for life.

A huge thank you to Pierre Barnérias for making the English version of Thanatos available to Solari subscribers and our full audience!

Pierre and his production company Tprod are dedicated to inspiring people to create a loving and enlightened civilization, a world where we live in harmony with ourselves, others, nature, and life. The success of his documentary films is evidence that truth is powerful and can support our hearts and imagination in a dark time. We encourage you to explore his work and to spread the word.
