Let's Go to the Movies: Week of May 16, 2022: Insight – Slaughtered on Suspicion

For the movie this week, we wanted to bring back this documentary by UK Column from 2015 about the “foot-and-mouth” disease p(l)andemic in the UK 20 years ago. This bovine holocaust, which involved the preemptive culling of more than six million cows and sheep, had many eerie elements in its infection containment policies that are strikingly similar to what we are experiencing in the Covid-19 and bird flu responses today.

What is imperative to understand is the impact such responses have on food production and the food supply. The control of our food supply is part and parcel of the move to centralize control of the global human population.

The images in this film are difficult to watch. And yet, we can’t close our eyes to the signals on the horizon heralding the next devastating p(l)andemic and global government response.

The documentary also begs the question: What might the “field effects” of the sacrifice of millions of animals between February and September 2001 have led up to?
