Let's Go to the Movies: Week of June 12, 2023: Human Pharming

For thousands of years, medicine and human healthcare were derived from the study and deeper understanding of nature, natural plant-based medicines, and the natural functioning of the human organism.

The form of medicine we practice and experience today has all but completely eclipsed the wisdom of nature and the bounty of naturally curing herbal and botanical products that cannot be patented. How and when did it happen that this split between naturopathic and homeopathic medicine and what is called allopathic, synthetic drug-based medicine became so deep?

Synthetic drugs and the beginning of the pharmaceutical industry trace back to the early 1900s, when the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research was founded. The institute was the very first “philanthropic” Rockefeller organization; over the years, it increasingly began to influence not only drug and vaccine manufacturing but also medical education.

This week’s “Let’s Go to the Movies” recommendation is a valuable two-part documentary describing the origins, planning, and push for the “unnatural” healthcare model under which much of human society today has been forced to live, suffer, and literally die.

Investigations by Dr. Barbara Starfield of Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and subsequently by Dr. Gary Null, Jon Rappoport, and many others have proved that “Doctors are the leading cause of death in the United States.”
