There is no better musical instrument than a pipe organ to experience the power and richness of sound. It’ s as if you had four different orchestras at your fingertips since the pipe organ can produce the sound of almost any instrument. Each organ pipe, there can be up to 20,000 of them, produces a single pitch when pressurized air is driven through the pipe via a keyboard (for the hands) or a pedalboard (for the feet). Unlike any other instrument the organ can sustain notes for as long as the corresponding keys are pressed. The bigger the pipe the lower the note.

The origins of the pipe organ can be traced back to the water organ in Ancient Greece, in the 3rd century BC, in which the wind supply was created with water pressure.
