Let’s Go to the Movies: Week of August 14, 2023: Remembering Nearfield

Recipient of the award for Best Health Film at the 2023 World Film Festival in Cannes, France, our Movie of the Week is an animated short film by Sean Carney, telling of the plight of severely electrosensitive people. This must-see production summarizes “in less than 10 minutes,” as Professor Olle Johansson says, “a staggering 45 years of research.”

People with electrohypersensitivity (EHS) suffer from increased debilitation and disease due to the effects of sustained exposure to electromagnetic fields. What may start slowly and unnoticed—showing up as a small number of symptoms such as losing focus or strange headaches—becomes an unbearable burden of disabilities as the body and mind can no longer cope. More and more people are at the beginning stages of what could be regarded as an “allergic reaction” to electricity and electromagnetic fields. It often takes many years for affected persons to understand why they suffer. But even without symptoms, we all are afflicted by the mind control waveforms transmitted through ever more intensifying electromagnetic fields. We may soon face a global emergency.
