Let’s Go to the Movies: Week of October 30, 2023: COVID Unmasked: 2020 and Beyond

The four-part 2023 documentary COVID Unmasked: 2020 and Beyond, produced and directed by Steve Miller, interrogates the crossroads moment in which we are living—the “Covid era.” Recent events highlight the stark choice we all face: to defend our humanity or let it be enslaved.

In 2010, Miller read a Rockefeller Foundation report predicting a pandemic, and he has been researching this subject ever since. In COVID Unmasked, he uses his broad knowledge and skillfully draws together considerable details and footage of the last three years’ events to enlighten viewers and suggest possible solutions.

The documentary’s four feature-film-length sections, which premiered on the Children’s Health Defense website in September 2023, cover “The Problem,” “COVID, Inc.,” “The Big Picture,” and “The Solution.” For the viewer oriented toward action and problem-solving, “The Solution” (Part Four) might be a good place to start, before jumping back to the first three parts for greater context and more details.

“The Solution” reminds viewers that the law holds more power to protect freedoms than might have been apparent when authorities overstepped their powers under cover of “Covid era” emergency measures. The film gives examples of the pushback that is possible, including footage of county sheriffs—and those they deputize—refusing to undertake law enforcement that goes against the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Another powerful sequence shows mothers bravely standing up in local government meetings, challenging mask mandates imposed on their children.

Through its images, “The Solution,” in particular, serves both as a call to engagement and, in its closing sequence, a summary of the stark choice between two worlds—the world whose freedoms we enjoyed pre-Covid and a future world lacking those freedoms, presaged by the “Covid measures” taken over the past several years.
