“I’ve always said mandates are the wrong approach, & TN has led in pushing back on federal covid vaccine requirements. Thanks to our work with the General Assembly, TN families won’t be impacted by today’s CDC vote. We’ll continue to stand for TN children & for personal freedom.”

~ Tennessee Governor Bill Lee in a Facebook message on October 20, 2022

On October 20, 2022, the CDC’s advisory committee unanimously voted to recommend the Covid-19 vaccine as a school-entry requirement; the final decision, however, remains with the individual state governments.

That same day, Governor Bill Lee announced to the public that Tennessee would not require Covid-19 vaccines for children to go to school. Other states like Virginia and Florida have also made it clear that they will not follow the CDC’s recommendation.

The CDC would like to see the Covid-19 injection added to the already lengthy list of vaccines required to attend school in all states. This would put the novel gene-based treatment on the same level as vaccines against polio, measles, whooping cough, and other diseases—vaccines that, though considered more “traditional,” have themselves been contributing to the Great Poisoning for decades.

Thanks to our Hero of the Week, Governor Lee—taking a stand for freedom of choice and for the rights of parents alone to make critical decisions for their children and the well-being of their families—children in Tennessee can go to school without inoculation against Covid-19.

In earlier legislation in 2021, Governor Lee had already limited many of the Covid-19 restrictions and regulations, such as not allowing businesses to require proof of vaccination.
