World equity markets had a strong week as the dollar fell despite the Fed bumping the Fed Funds rate by 25 basis points. Bonds are now flat for the year, a slight improvement since last week. Oil is the commodity whose price is being clobbered. Last week’s announcement of the largest US find in 30 years in Alaska pushed the scarcity concerns back again. The US now rises to #10 in global reserves.
